A multi-media artist working with silk, wood, leather, paint & space: Interior Designer Enza Ricco of Fig Interiors

Enza Ricco of Fig Interiors and I worked together when she hired me to photograph her interior design. She is one of the most creative minded and vision - focused designers with whom I have ever worked. She likes to express her deigned space, not just with an overall wide shots, but with images that focus on the materials she uses, the colours she combines, and the patterns she incorporates. She encouraged me to capture her design this way in two dimension. I loved finding new views and perspectives of the material as we explored the space. This experience leads me to describe Enza as a multimedia artist. Your four walls and house footprint are her blank canvas, which she then articulates with furniture, accessories of leather, silk, linen, wood; using vibrant colors to offset calming neutrals. All of this planned and organized using geometry and symmetry.

We added the vibrant paintings of Sarah Phelps to the wall after the shoot, and they add a tremendous energy to the space.
